I will be running a series of workshops at the Subud Centre in Lewes. Please find details below.

Each workshop lasts for two hours, and will cost £25 per person, per session. If you would like to book onto a workshop, or you have any questions, please do let me know.

Explore your family tree via a Genogram.

A Genogram uses the structure of a family tree in order to show information about the nature of relationships between family members. There will be space to explore the patterns, struggles and assets that are passed down from generation to generation.

This workshop is designed to bring the strengths and weaknesses of your family out into the open in the belief that understanding is key to changing unhelpful patterns.

  • Weds 25th June: 1pm-3pm
  • Sat 30th June: 10am-12pm

It is very common, having been in an abusive or toxic relationship, to want to avoid having another. This session will give you an idea of the ‘Red Flags’ to watch out for in new intimate relationships. There will also be space to examine your relationship history in order to explore some of your own particular vulnerabilities, with a view to looking after yourself in your future relationships.

  • Weds 11th July: 1pm-3pm
  • Sat 14th July: 10am-12pm

Obviously, those around us are human, and may do and say hurtful things every so often. Emotional abuse is different; it is a consistent pattern of behaviour, seen throughout the relationship. It can be understood as instrumental (which is not necessarily the same as conscious); as an attempt to gain and maintain a position of power or invulnerability in the relationship.

This workshop will explore some of the tactics of emotional abuse, in the understanding that knowing what is happening to you is often an important part of dealing with it. The session will also look at what is being hooked in us, and explore different ways of responding (if appropriate).
